This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, Cloudflare automatically collects technical server log data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, user agent (browser and operating system type) and the page requested. This data is required for the technical operation, security and troubleshooting of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website). Cloudflare may process this data in the USA; the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare, Inc. has self-certified.
With your consent, Meta Pixel may set cookies for advertising. We store your choice locally in your browser so it persists. Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies to protect this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) do we load Meta Pixel (ID 944013932114028) from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. A PageView event is sent to Meta for each page view. ViewContent is also sent only when you visit the Maldives retreat page. After a request form is submitted successfully, a Lead event is sent without the form contents. Data processed may include the visited URL, IP address, browser information and cookie identifiers. We use this to measure ads and create advertising audiences. Meta may process data outside the EU. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Without consent, Meta Pixel is not loaded. Meta privacy policy.
When you contact us via the inquiry form, WhatsApp, Telegram or email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, message text) in order to answer your inquiry and arrange a place on a class or event. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to, or for the performance of, a contract). Messages sent via Telegram are transmitted through the infrastructure of Telegram Messenger Inc., which is outside our control. Your data is deleted once it is no longer needed to process your inquiry, unless we are legally required to retain it.
The inquiry form transmits your name, a contact detail (phone, WhatsApp, Telegram or email), optionally the offer or event you are interested in and a comment, and technically the language and page from which the inquiry was sent. This data is not stored in a database on the website; it is forwarded immediately via the Telegram Bot API to our Telegram account and handled there. We have no control over the processing by Telegram Messenger Inc. In addition to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, the legal basis is the consent you give by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email or Telegram. The message is deleted from the Telegram chat once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
To protect the inquiry form from automated abuse (spam, bots) we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It transmits and evaluates technical data such as IP address and browser characteristics to Cloudflare, Inc., without showing a traditional CAPTCHA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, abuse-free form).
This website links to our Instagram and Telegram profiles. These are plain links, not embedded content (no social plugins). The links themselves do not transmit data to Instagram/Meta or Telegram when you visit this website. If you click a link, that provider's privacy terms apply.
All fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service.
